Sales of faulty car with too many problems

On the 23rd July 2016, I went into an agreement of a car purchase with e-motion cars. The car in question is a BMW 118i 5 Door, which I test drove for about plus minus 8km. The car upon first look had minor non-technical problems, e.g. peeling paint/scratch, broken fuel cap, dented windscreen… something which I had no problem with. Upon the end of the test, I drove with e-motion cars’ assistant to pay for the car. On our way, an alarm went off indicating one tyre had a puncture. I reported this to e-motion cars upon my returning from the bank. They said it that was my problem to solve. A few days later, the car was licking of water. Then two weeks later the engine was smoking. It seems to me e-motion cars sold the car under false pretences, and concealed the fact the fact that the car had mechanical problems, which could be fatally. Even today, they’ve failed to produce ownership papers for the car in my name. The disk has expired

One of the mechanical failures I have fixed were 2 x control arm bush which cost me R 2560.44.

The engine has twice produced smokes, and I had to refill it with oil. This means the car could catch fire if I continue driving it under these mechanical failures/problems.

Thus I want e-motion cars to fix these problems, or reimburse my money.

It is very clear the salesperson was lying under his skin when he said the car was in good condition as he had driven it the past 3 or 4 days prior.

Details of steps taken to resolve the complaint:

I took the car back asking them to fix whatever problems the car might have. They refused, telling me to come with my lawyers.

They also acknowledged the car had faults in the car i.e. the wheels are vibrating and oil licks but they say I have to incur the cost of fixing the faults because they gave me a discount.
