Unfair Labour Practice

My husband was an employee at emnotweni movies for 3 years when lockdown started they stopped working during the lockdown everyone was getting paid UIF TERS but not him we enquired with them countless times but all we got nothing but rude responses. We are now trying to claim directly from the department of labor and to our surprise on their system it still shows him as someone who is permanently employed hence he stopped working march 2020 again we reached out to the managers and we got another rude response "what do you want us to do" another dead end as we cannot claim anything from the department of labour because of them.
