Unacceptable treatment
Emirates markets itself as a superior/premium airline. They fail to deliver on their value proposition - based on my experience they treat you worse than a low cost airline when something goes wrong.
In two years I flew several round trips in business class with Emirates. Not one was event free from poor and dirty lounges, hair in my food, dirty aircraft, disengaged staff and a broken seat that did not go flat.
The final straw was when they damaged my luggage and stated in writing that they do not take responsibility for any luggage checked in with them. This was on a ticket costing more than R45k.
Since then they have ignored an email and written letter of complaint. They clearly have no respect for their passengers and do not live up to their service promises.
