Seats alongside smelly toilets

<p>My husband and my flight on the 26 October 2016 was one of my worst flights ever. We flew from Dubai to Athens on Flight EK105 pre-booked our seats only to find that it was literally alongside the toilet. Most flights that I have been on have the last row of toilets end slightly in front of the toilet but these seats were literally almost parallel to the toilet. This meant that we could see people enter and exit the toilet stall from out seats. I was also so close that we could smell every excrement that was made by a by someone going in the stall. Then we were expected to eat with the smells coming from the toilet, we could not!!! It was disgusting and felt unsanitary! We asked the air hostess to find us another seats, however he said that he would ask if a seat was empty but it was up to us to speak the person sitting next to the empty seat to see if they were happy with us sitting next to them. When we did asked one of the individuals if we could sit in the empty seat next to them he said no because he wanted to use the empty seats to sleep across. Emirate did not help us with our problem and we were expected to sit in the most foul smelling toilet odour and actually consume food for an entire long haul flight. We have flown a few times with emirates and it has always been a great experience however this flight left us disgusted.</p>
