******* service and products from Emirates Airlines
I purchased a his and hers watch set on the 17 September 2017 on an inflight duty free, and i have a problem with the men's watch. I gave my son the men's watch as a Christmas gift and he has used it for less than a month and it has caused him to have a terrible skin rash. This was because the coating on the watch band has come off and the metal started corroding. This was supposed to be stainless steel, but is not. I contacted Emirates more than eight times via email, before a lady by the name of Solange Bagaria (Mrs) rep****. She asked me to take the watch to UMHLANGA ROCKS in Durban, KZN. I sent her an email advising that i live more than three hours away from UMHLANGA ROCKS. Since then i have sent twelve emails, but all my emails have been ignored. I am really frustrated that this woman is ignoring my emails. All the emails sent, i have received read replies for. Someone has definitely opened and read them. It will cost me at least R700.00 to take the watches to UMHLANGA ROCKS, and this is besides my time and wear and tear on my vehicle. This is really very poor service from Emirates Air lines. Not to mention that they also sell very poor quality products. I paid for the watches and now i demand my money back.......They must make the necessary arrangements to collect the watches from me. I refuse to take it to them.....
