Poor coordination for Emirates :(

My husband and i are on business in Belgium and as we don't have loads of money to waste we have also turned it into a holiday as we really can't afford to go on vacation often. We had ample time to catch our connecting flight but our flight arrival time was changed several times to the point where we almost missed our flight to Belgium, with no one to assist us to get to the gate. My husband and I sprinted across the airport only to just make it! What's worse is we arrive to find all our baggage still sitting in Dubai. We stood in a queue for about an hour trying to sort out our lost luggage. So embarrassing to be attending business meetings in my not so formal tracksuit pants and sneakers. And the next flight is only tomorrow afternoon so I really hope I get my bag in time for our dinner reservation! Very frustrating.
