No response, Not even a word

I was flying from Cape Town to Auckland, so needed to go via Dubai. The Dubai flight was great, good service and food.

But when we boarded on Dubai to head to Brisbane to reach Auckland I went to sit on my seat, next to me was a Scot and His wife. (lovely people) then being so cold in the plane I noticed that the air was blowing on my from the console in the roof. I stood up and turned the nozzle to close the airflow, immediately something flew into my eye from the vent.

I sat down and my eye just would not stop irritating and itching. I tried to ignore it but did not seem to work, I got up to go to the bathroom and one of the flight attendants asked me if I was okay, I asked all good why? She told me that my Eye was swollen and looks like there is blood in my eye. She immediately gave me saline solution, which didn't resolve the problem but made it less irritable. 3 hours into the flight my eye has doubled in size and even more red.

When we landed at Brisbane the medics (first aiders) tried to get it out, but could not. only after trying the last time we managed to remove a piece of white plastic from my eye.

I logged it with Emirates! number: JNB/X/SG/***
