No compassion - bad attitude

We booked international flights with Emirates for 4 people early 2018 for December 2018. In November 2018 we as a family were in an armed *******. My wife was shot 5 times and hospitalised for 2 months and the rest of us severely traumatised. We had to cancel our flights 3 weeks before departure. Emirates will only refund my wife's ticket. I understand they have certain policies but have they no empathy or compassion with their clients or is it all about revenue? I am absolutely disgusted with their attitude.
