NEVER FLY EMIRATES!!! THEY ***** YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

I have used Emirates airlines for years traveling back and forth in and out several countries. The past two years have been a nightmare!

I booked flights in October 2021, the flight was cancelled the day before departure due to COVID ban on flights from SA to Dubai. A few weeks later the travel ban was lifted and I attempted to reach emirates to rebook the cancelled flights and couldn't reach them so i booked new flights, only for those flights to be cancelled a week before departure as well! I now have two flights with the airline expiring in October an Jan respectively and upon trying to rebook I'm being charged an exorbitant amount which equates to booking a ticket myself. The ticket price was R12350 in 2021, no on the emirates website the ticket is R15000, however i am being charged an additional R8560 over an above the R12350.

when I request a refund of my 2021 airfare, I'm being charged R6175 cancellation fee.!!

Never using this airline again!!!!
