Misleading Refund policy

Dear Emirates Customer Affairs Team,

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the refund I recently received for my booking Booking ***.

According to the information provided on the Emirates website and the applicable fare rules, the refund amount I was supposed to receive was R7200 less refund fees. However, the amount that was actually refunded to me is R627, which is significantly different from what was stipulated.

No explanation has been provided for this difference, and I would appreciate a detailed clarification on:

The exact breakdown of the refund processed.

The reason why the refund differs from the stated policy/amount on your website.

Whether any fees, deductions, or adjustments were app**** that were not made clear at the time of cancellation.

I kindly request your urgent assistance in resolving this matter and, if applicable, for the refund amount to be corrected.

Further to this, I immediately contacted Emirates upon recpt of the refund email and advised that I would like for my booking to be reinstated before the refund was initiated and this was ignored. I find this unprofessional and wrong.

Please let me know if you require any additional information or documentation from my side to expedite the resolution.
