Harassment in Dubai international Airport

I had a flight to Belize on the 19th of October, we had booked tickets and return tickets for our 2weeks Belize trip. Emirates cleared us in ORTarbo when we got to Dubai we still had to transit in Sau Paulo Brazil and Panama before our destination in Belize. However, the security in Dubai came and asked us why we are going to Sau Paulo and we told him that we are only transiting to go to Belize. We shocked them our onwards tickets, letter of transit from Brazil, confirmed hotel bookings in Belize and proof of funds to sustain us while in Belize but he said no you are not going to Belize we know you want to go to Brazil and unfortunately we won't allow you to continue with your journey. They took us to the interrogation room, my husband first and told him to tell the truth before they call police and he told them that we are only transiting in Brazil going to Belize. I was called and told that my husband said we are going to Brazil not Belize, I also told them that we are going to Belize not Brazil and we transiting in Sau Paulo because there are no direct flights. They told us to wait outside moments later a security came in and they told us to follow him and we did only to be told by other African guys who had the same problem that we have been denied to board. I followed one security guy and demanded answers he said Brazil does not want you to transit in their airport. My family members immediately phoned Brazilian embassy and there where told that the Airline we are using is the one refusing us to board not them. In their reports there are saying we did not answer the question they asked. We where brought back and lost R140 000 for the flights, hotel bookings in Belize and money we paid for the travel insurance. This is how Emigrates is treating black customers, they only allowed us to reach Dubai and created stories against us.
