Flight delay resulting in monetary loss and almost a missed flight

I’m very disappointed with the two flights that I booked from joburg to Madrid - BOTH were delayed which can’t have huge time and money implications for a client! I had a connecting flight to catch to Porto from Madrid and if I wasnt young and fit I would have missed my flight as a result of your flights being delayed!!! I ran to drop my baggage off but the gentleman informed me at the gate that it was too late and advised me to just take my bag as hand luggage. My bag was full of things that cannot pass through security as hand luggage and as a result I had to leave approximately R3000 of products behind!! Please could I be remunerated for the inconvenience caused by you? Disgruntled customer
