Emirates....Top Notch service

Recently, on my way back from Australia, our plane was diverted to a smaller runway outside Dubai as, due to the flooding their was chaos at the main airport. We sat on the runway for 8 hours and then, once we arrived at Dubai all our connecting flights were no longer available. One can imagine the situation.. passengers feeling frantic and becoming quite excitable and emotional. I was so impressed with how the ground staff controlled the situation and how efficiently and kindly they handled everyone. On arrival back in Durban no one had luggage!!! Forms were filled in with promises of delivering luggage to our homes (I live 103kms north of the airport). Within 4 days I had my luggage. Well done and thank you Emirates for your excellent, caring service.
