Emirates late result to extra cost, inconvenience

On 19 April 2015 to 1 May 2015 we travelled to Ireland for our honeymoon connecting in Dubai, all flights with Emirates. Planned to overnight on our way back in Dubai on the 29th, we got our 96 hour visas ahead of time. Out of our 4 flights in this period Emirates was late more than 1.5 hours on 3 of the flights. The first late arrival to mess up our whole honeymoon. We missed our connecting in Dubai to Dublin. Then the airline booked us on a later flight and a hotel to wait. Issuing a hotel pass, but not informing us that this hotel is outside airport grounds and that it counts as a 8 hour visa to leave airport. Checked through the border not handing OUR visas, but to be horribly surprised on our overnight stay a week later. Shortly, they used our visa for the 29th instead of the hotel pass. So there we are stranded with no visa and no one taking responsibility or effort to help us. Four hours later we needed to pay AED1000 for new visas, we missed our transportation and had to pay again for a taxi to our hotel. We missed a day of our honeymoon in Dublin and again a half a day in Dubai, the cost of 2x visas and taxi cost all because of the late arrival and no one willing to help!!
