emirates broke my guitar

on a flight from new york to johannesburg via dubai on the 27/06/15. i handed my beloved guitar to one of the cabin crew to take care of because it was too big to stow in the over head compartments. <br> <br> Upon arrival at the O R Tambo international airport. i walked to the front of the air craft and asked for my guitar. i was told that it was on inside the plane which made no sense because every single time i had flown with Emirates they had always went out of their way to make sure it was safe. <br> <br> once inside the airport i began to look for it and after about 20 minutes i found it just laying on the floor. i didnt think to open and make sure it was ok and i took it home. Today i found that i was in fact broken at the neck and the strings were all tangled. i dont even know how to begin to express my anger at Emirates. as a musician my guitar is probably my most prized possession. someone needs to be held accountable for this. the sentimental value of the guitar will probably never be replaced but Emirates had better do right by its customer and replace what they broke. <br> <br> i am very disappointed because this is my favorite airline and they have let me down so badly
