Emirates bad customer service

I booked return flight tickets to Italy for April 2020 and have been struggling to get a refund since. The flight was cancelled due to international Lockdown travel restrictions. Its been nearly two years of going back and forth in emails and phone calls without any success. The consumer service has been below satisfactory.
