Emirates Airline - ****** is rife

<p>Whilst at Venice flying to Dubai, i was informed by the group i was with that Emirates is looking for volunteers to switch flights to a later one and another connecting one because they were overbooked. The benefit was a free return ticket to Italy. </p> <p>I "volunteered" because i was still on holiday and did not need to rush home. I was told that they cannot help me because they already "printed my flight tickets", she was rude and totally ignored me when i questioned her reason behind it. At the same time I pointed out that the counter next to me was offering another person the swop whilst i was questioning why i did not qualify. I later found out from most of my fellow travellers that they offered the swop to everyone but myself and everyone else was WHITE, I was the only non-white in the group.</p> <p>On my return to SA, i sent an email expressing my frustration at the way i was treated and also questioned why i was not awarded the benefit despite "volunteering". The reply received was that EMIRATES has a selective criteria to whom they offer these benefits to. I questioned the "SELECTIVE CRITERIA" and is yet to receive a reply from Head office and the SA office.</p> <p>I am shocked at the service and treatment received by the airline. I am disappointed that such an airline would still express such ****** treatment to passengers and for an international company to just refuse to comment is even more disgusting.</p> <p>Its amazing that there are no ****** acts when we Non Whites book business class flights and use them as our preferred airline.</p> <p>This is my first bad experience with an Airline, unproffesional, ****** with zero integrity.</p> <p> </p>
