Don't bother with Emirates Airways

Emirates will take the money from my account knowing that the flights could be canceled and when they are canceled take NINETY DAYS to refund my money. I work in the financial services sector and I know that it doesn't take three months to issue a refund, it can be done in 48 working hours. But Emirates, and other companies know that the longer they keep my, and others, money in their accounts, the more solvent they look. Also, are you going to pay me the interest earned on my money while it sits in your bank accounts? Shame on you Emirates. I fly from Africa to Asia and back at least twice a year and in the past have always used Qatar and Cathay. I decided to give Emirates a chance, what a bad idea. And please, don't blame Covid-19, most financial exchanges work on automated systems and can be operated and aprroved by agents working from home. You just lost TWO regular flyers who will never set foot in an Emirates aircraft ever again. Cheerio!
