I was travelling to Dublin on the 15th of April 2018 and to my surprise I was denied access to Dublin in Dubai, I have been communicating with the SA Embassy in Dublin, Ireland Embassy here in Pretoria and with the Minister of Justice in Dublin regarding this matter, I sent an email to the President of SA, He is waiting for an update. The Justice Department responded today assuring me that Dublin never denied me access , Emirates **** to the Immigration saying that" I SAID I AM A BELGIAN RESIDING IN BRUSSELS, I am extremely angry and I do not know if Emirates did that to spite me because I am black? I had proof for my trip as well as a valid ticket. Not to my suprise, all the white people that were before me on the queue were never asked questions at all. This makes Emirates responsible for my access being denied. I am currently busy with my lawyer because I am taking action against Emirates and I am going to expose Emirates in to all social media platforms. People must to know about this airline, I filled a form online for my refund a week ago, which they promised, however no one is bothering to contact me.
I received the following email from the border management unit in Dublin:
Dear Nokwandu,
You have been provided with comprehensive responses to your queries. As previously advised, the Border Management Unit did NOT deny you entry to the State. The airline chose not to permit you boarding.
As previously stated, the matter is considered closed. Any further queries you may have on this issue, please address with the airline concerned.
Regards,
David Durnin Border Management Unit
