A Five Star Airline

We arrived at King Shaka airport in Durban on the 1st October in good time to board our flight to Dubai and Lisbon for our Portugal holiday . The dream became a nightmare when I found I had brought an expired passport - the new one was back in Howick, some 2 hours away . Our trip and accommodation was booked ,pre-paid and non- refundable .Disaster loomed. The Emirates Duty Manager and her staff were fantastic ,helpful and supportive, and kept us sane while a friend raced against the clock to bring my passport to the airport before take-off . Many other Airlines would have turned their backs on our problem. We were finally boarded with minutes to spare. Thank you Emirates !! Ant Morris
