Poor service delivery

Good day,

I would like to file a complaint about the Emfuleni Local Municipality (Vanderbijlpark). I reside in Bonane (Chayil Complex). We have been without power since Wednesday morning due to a fire that broke out at one of the substations, and we still do not have any power until now. We were told that our residence will only receive power by Sunday afternoon at the latest. This is always the problem with Emfuleni; this is not the first time we have experienced this. This just shows the lack of maintenance and skills within this municipality.

Kindly assist on claiming compensation from this municipality for my food items (Fridge/freezer) which have been spoiled (due to the lack of maintenance in the substation). I pay my rates and taxes every month to this municipality but their service delivery towards their customers is very poor.
