EMFULENI MUNICIPALITY SEWERAGE PROBLEM - FOLLOW UP: Account number: ***0 - Address: Marklaan 12

Dear Emfuleni Municipality Executives and Customer Care

Please note that I still await a response to my email below. I have re-attached the pictures for your perusal.

I have also attached our most recent statement which reflects an outrageous charge for ADD SEWERAGE BUS/IND 1749.000 kl – Amounting to R2,717.08 (Incl VAT). Firstly, the usage charged on of 1749.000 kl is much higher than the water usage of 17.000 kl. These charges have been going on for a while now.

Please note that I have not paid any amount for sewerage as the S#*T is literally flowing in the streets! And I will not pay any future charges until this issue is resolved.

I HEREBY REQUEST A FULL REFUND OF THIS CHARGE AS WELL OF ALL SEWERAGE CHARGES AS FAR BACK AS THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT HAS BEEN CHARGED. THIS IS DAYLIGHT ROBERY AND WE WILL NOT TAKE THE MATTER LIGHTLY. WE WILL INSTITUTE LEGAL ACTION IF NECESSARY.
