Bogus driving school

We did not receive the full service paid for

I booked 16 hours of driving lessons and a test with Emmanuel my future driving school in Boksburg (Also known as EMF). First, she asked for a 2k deposit But only did 3 hours with my daughter, and that was it. The rest was just stories and stories of people passing on in her family, cars breaking etc.

Below is the last message i got from the instructor and owner:

Dear Valued Clients,

I hope this message finds you well. It is with a very heavy heart that I write to inform you that, due to unforeseen financial circumstances, I am no longer able to continue offering any services through EMF Driving Academy.

Over the past months, I have faced severe challenges that have led to bankruptcy. I have lost both my home and my vehicles, and I am in the process of relocating to Botswana where I will be starting over with the very little I have left. As painful as it is to say, I am unfortunately not in a position to issue any refunds at this time.

Please know that this decision has not been made lightly. I have done everything in my power to try and keep going, but the situation has reached a point where it is no longer possible.

For those students who still need to complete their tests, I kindly recommend contacting Joanne’s Driving School +***8, who may be able to assist in doing lessons and tests

I want to express my deepest apologies and thank each and every one of you for your support and trust in me. Even though I broke that. This is not the ending I had hoped for, and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.

Once again I am so sorry. I lost everything to my name. And will have to go stay on a farm in tents for now till I get back on my feet. I've kept your contact details and as soon as I get a job and I will start working I'll start refunding every last cent I owe you.

The public should be aware of this shocking service. I feel ********** and wasted my money on something I was promised and never received.
