Emerald Life is a ****. I personally dropped off claims documents at their office at Sunbel Building, Bellville. Everything was said to be fine and to be processed and I’ll be notified within 48 hours. After the 48 hours I decided to contact them to find out the status on my claim, they told me that there was a mix up with the documents so they’ve rectified and will communicate with me further. Another 48 hours pass and I contact them myself again and they claim that the checking has been done and everything has been sent to their payments department and now the payments department asked for an affidavit since my mother’s passport has expired. It has been now more than a week since I’ve been waiting and they sent an sms that there’s more information required.
