Emerald life funeral policy

Emerald life funeral insurance is not the cover that one can trust and depend on them during difficult time. I have a funeral cover with them where I insured my mother in law. I submitted a claim with them on the 19th April 2023 after several amendments. On the 20 April 2023 they called me tos at my claim went for investigation. They called the whole world ask is my husband the deceased child and whether he was there when his mother passed away.. They eventually called us to ask whether is she really my mother in law and whether i contributed towards the burial. I am very disappointed at the company to ask the hospital, funeral parlour, neighbours and family to check whether my husband is the deceased son and whether i'm the daughter in law. Such insensitivity from their side. How insensitive are they to ask that and also end up by asking my husband same question literally days after he buried his mother and even ask questions like who paid the funeral parlour. Today on the 28 April 2023 I receive an SMS informing that my claim went for investigation and I'll receive response after 14days. Now I ask myself when did the 14 days start. I asked the investigator why they didn't investigate when I took the policy, no answer was given. They make me feel like a ***** but when they were taking my premiums for years, it was nice for them I am going to cancel another policy I have with them because it doesn't help when the time I need money because to them I'm a ***** and I have to be investigated. Shame I am done with the company.
