Claim not paid

I have a funeral policy with emerald. When I submitted my claim I was told that my policy is under investigation by management. I submitted my claim on 03/01/23. It has been 10 days and there is no progress. They don’t update me on the claim. When I call I am told to wait as the management is still investigating.
