Stay away from Valumax Brooklands Lifestyle Estate

I would like to warn prospective tenants to stay away from Valumax. When you move into their units they do not conduct a thorough move in inspection, but when you move out they call Gelbry Consultants to do a move out inspection! Please beware,their aim is not to pay you back your rental deposit! I was charged water damage on the walls which were damaged by the rain, I was not aware of the damage until I moved out because my head board had covered the wall, but I was fined heavily for it. Instead of getting my R8500 deposit back I only got R2000 back. Electricity consumption was also a *******, R600 per week for a 3-bed Unit with 4 people. The metre kept on deducting electricity after I moved out. Do yourself a favour and chose other landlords
