Damaged my personal belongings
We went to the Upstairs Day Spa at the Emerald Casino in November, while have the treatments done we were asked to wait for the pool area before we move to the next treatment room. While we were waiting at the pool, the staff moved our personal belongings WITHOUT our permission, we had phones, money and jewelry. We were not told that our good would be moved, they had dropped my brand new iPhone 5s, my screen, the chassis and the lock button was damaged. While we moved to the next treatment room we were advised that there was a small accident.Spoke to the Manager of the day spa &

We do of course regret this unfortunate incident that we believe only occurred through miscommunication from our staff member who was not aware that your phone was wrapped in your clothing when removing it to the treatment room. She inadvertently dropped it, causing damage to your phone. We are pleased though that through our various telephonic and emailed communication that we have agreed to pay the excess on your insurance claim as a show of good will. This has been deposited in your bank account. We do hope that you can forgive what was an unfortunate but totally innocent action on the part of the Upstairs Day Spa staff member and that we can consider the matter closed.
