Sour sausages

I purchaced half a lamb,mutton burgers ans mutton sausages last week. Cooked them today anx they are smelling sour and the half lamb is so tough and previously the half lamb had a funny smell and a brownish colour. You guys are not cheap so we exspect fresh stuff!!!!! Im sending the rotten sausages back
