Rotten Meat and Bad Customer Service

I went to Emam Bux Overport this weekend to purchase meat as it is the usual place i purchase my meat on a monthly bases. i purchased a meat pack when i took it home and unpacked it i notice at the bottom of the pack had large piece of FAT that would have weighed nothing less that R50 itself, apart from that it had a bad smell when i turned the fat around i notice that it was rotten.

i was very angry as i paid R400 for the meat pack, with my anger and disappointment i took the meat back from pinetown all the way back to overport same time.

when i got to the store i went straight to the owner, before i could give him my complaint he told me speak to the manager and he walked away, he went through the exit and entered the front entrance to avoid me.

i then spoke to the manager and he went straight to the butchery department, he asked one of the employees for the person whom packs the meet and they advised him that the person whom packed the meat was not in, he left me standing there with no answers no apologies no explanation or what he is going to do to resolve the issue, stood there for 5 minutes the manager was then no where to be seen.

i had to ask another employee where the manager was and they had looked for him and asked him to come see me. when the manager returned i just asked him for my money back. he then did a refund and i made my way out the store, yet again he did not apologies to me which made me even more angry.

my question is this if had just purchased a meet pack and it was rotten knowing the customer will see the rotten meat what do they put in there sausages or processed meats, how do we know that they are not putting rotten meat in it, hence the reason for cancer becoming one of the highest illnesses today.

i will not visit this store in a hurry, and my advise to the people who will visit this store in future is dont be blind to what you are purchasing if you are purchasing a meat pack open it at the store.
