Absolutely Pathetic Maine **** Cattery. Do Not Waste Your Time!

<p>My husband and I have been in search of a maine **** cat for a year now. We attended the world of dogs and cats show to find a breeder. This is where we encountered the breeders from Emalini Cattery. They told us that their next litter is due middle of August and ensured us that as soon as they are born, they will be posted on the website and a first-come-first-serve basis will apply.</p> <p> </p> <p>I offered a deposit to secure a kitten or asked if there was any sort of method to secure a kitten. They insisted that they do not reserve kittens for anyone. So I agreed and checked their website everyday. I checked 4-5 times a day. I even called to check up on how the parents were doing - where they again told me the website is the only way to reserve a kitten. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am heartbroken and extremely disappointed to have learned that they pre-sold ALL kittens to people who had a "first right". I find this highly unprofessional and discriminatory. They should have told us about these people with "first rights" and not wasted so much of our time. I strongly advise anyone in search of Maine ****s in South Africa to use a different cattery - one that doesn't lie and waste your time. </p>
