Services Not Delivered, Refuse To Do Refund

Please do not use the services of this company. We phoned to inquire about them completing a job for us. It took us 3 phone calls and a trip to their shop to retrieve the quote from them. Upon trying to book the job i was informed that a deposit of 80% had to be paid to them before a job could be booked. I paid this deposit and phoned them back to confirm a booking date which was confirmed to me. Come the morning of the job El Wierda Glass did not arrive on site. I phoned them and they informed me that all their workers were out for the day and that our job could not be completed. That was the only day that we could have completed that project so we had to make alternative arrangements. Since this incident we have been trying to recover the deposit that we paid as no service was provided. When you phone the ladies at the office tell you that you need to speak to the owner as he is the one that deals with refunds but that he is not there at the moment, and they refuse to tell you when he will be at the shop to discuss this matter. If you manage to get hold of the owner over the phone he tells you that he is out at site and that he cannot deal with it until he gets back to the office, but refuses to tell you when he will return, and promises to phone you back, which he never does. My advice to anyone would be to avoid using this company and to take your business to another aluminium and glass supplier in the area, there are many in the same area that will provide the same service but you will actually get what you pay for and they will turn up when required. El Wierda Glass and Aluminium has worst customer service that i have ever experienced and i am highly disappointed that they feel that they can treat customers this way. Again please seriously re consider using this companies services and look for an alternative in the area, they are numerous others to choose from.
