Elsies River Hospital:Doctor Cloete's bad attitude

Last night 10/01/2018, I went to Elsies river Day hospital due to extreme abdominal pain. I arrived at the hospital before 19:00. I was assisted and nurses did great job and did my observations where I made known to them I have abdominal pain.I then went back to waiting room awaiting my turn patiently and in pain to be called around 23:40.I was called in by Dr MG Cloete to enter examination room whereby I greeted her and took a seat. Her first response to me was so how can I help you tonight, on which I responded that I got abdominal and lower abdominal pain. She then said, which you had for three weeks already, why didn't you go to doctor during the day don't you know this is a trauma unit,this is where we deal with people who has difficulty breathing, people who come in with stab wounds, chest pains ect. We need to see to those emergencies ,with a very ****py attitude.Stunned by this woman going at me, I had to pause just to make sure this is real..This is not a day hospital ,this is a trauma unit.You actually wasted you time to come sit here ,cause I can't do anything for you ,cause I can't do blood tests, xrays or scans ,Dr MG Cloete says. I responded so why didn't the nurses told me that,when I told them I have abdominal pain.Her response with a very ****y attitude, I quote:"its not their JOB to tell you that".My reply to her was:excuse me are you, being the doctor ,speaking to me the patient with that attitude, I do not appreciate it and its not acceptable.So now she is attacking my intelligence by saying, I quote:Its common knowledge to know what a trauma unit is, its just logical.I told her I understand what she's saying, but I'm in pain where was I suppose to go to.I was not the only person there, whom she has seen with "minor"medical complaints.So it went on for maybe 5min maybe more. So I said well if this is the case thank you for your time but I think I will leave now cause I will not take this any more. So Dr MG Cloete says,well if you are refusing to receive medical help you need to sign the file, as I was getting up to leave..Really! !! Here she was clearly having a problem seeing me as her patient because I have abdominal pain, in the same sentence she is saying that they can't turn patients away.. that's exactly what she, "Dr Cloete" just did indirectly!!!I'm about to walk out ,so she asked are you sure you don't want me to examine you ,sensing a kind of change in her attitude now.Me in pain, I said okay.She examined me and now she wanted to act nice. I took my stuff and left. Is this the type of doctors that we have in community centres treating patients with such disrespect and disgust being insensitive to patients well being and pain and discomfort they suffer.Unbelievable it makes me sick to my stomach. Didn't this doctor made a pledge to serve the community with dignity and coming to their aid where it concern their well being.Dr MG Cloete really acted unprofessional, insensitive,disrespectful and this kind of ugly behaviour need to be addressed head on!!!I did not deserve to be treated like that...period..I hope that something will be done in regard to this post. Thank you...
