Terrible service and no knowledge of products - Elsburg Auto Paints

If you are looking for terrible service and incompetence, this is the place to go. I went there, with make and model, paint code and petrol cap for a sample. I was told that the paint code meant nothing, as each book was different. That should have been my first hint. Five attempts later, the paint was still the incorrect colour. This was with me having to call them, drive there to collect the paint, drive back, spray, go back to return the paint and go through the whole process again. The woman then allegedly, after attempt number five, took it to the factory, allegedly paid R 500 for them to mix the paint yet again. Guess what? Wrong colour AGAIN!! She refused to refund me, saying that it had cost her money etc. Four weeks of schlepping, for the wrong colour - must be some kind of world record. Amazingly, I went to another paint shop in Germiston this morning. They strangely enough managed to tell ME what car it was, simply with the paint code!Two hours later, they called me, to inform me that the paint was ready. Drum roll please... the colour is correct - first time. Moral of the story? If you want good service and a company that isn't going to waste your time and money, go somewhere else!
