Elrido Guesthouse - NO GO

I would not reccomend Elrido guesthouse to anyone. Our experience at the guesthouse was to say the least dismall. The receptionist was openly hostile when she eventually realised that we were not "white". Then the rooms... oh dear... Upon check in there was no water (due to main inlet being turned off), shower was blocked and when we eventually got water it was dirty and ice cold. (due to geyser being switched off) and when we brought it to her attention, she responded with "I think I should just close the doors" (in Afrikaans) She tried convincing us that the whole of the area had no water, but my sister who lives a block away had water. Thereby we realised that the water was turned off at the guesthouse... Why???? The pillows in the room was made of stone in a manner of speaking and one had a big tear in it. This is a big no no....
