Items missing from container.
We shipped the contents of our home from Johannesburg to Los Angeles, plus some items of my dad who had recently passed away. I was deeply saddened by the fact that some of my dad's most precious and personal items were missing along with some of my own personal items of value. I took out an All Risk Marine policy underwritten by Hollard sold to me by Elliott. Elliott has rejected my claim stating that I received all my items. I can't state it any plainer than I have not received all the items on my inventory that were supposedly packed by Elliott's packers. The correspondence from their 'Insurance and Customer Service Manager' Regan Bosch has been unapologetic and he has imp**** that it must have been my staff members, offhandedly referring to my 'gardener', not a term that I have used in our discourse. I reject that insinuation and find it in poor taste. The matter remains unresolved and poorly handled by Elliott/Hollard and its representatives.
