International moving

Moved from Cape Town to New Zealand. The packing was done very well in that the Elliott team managed to get our entire 4 bed household into a 20 ft container including an upright piano. The packing team were pleasant to work with and were efficient.

On arrival in NZ, there were two breakages out of thousands of items. One glass and one casserole dish. There was no other damage to any item of furniture or appliance.

We were consistently informed of the progress of our container as it visited 10 ports over 10 weeks and was placed on three different ships to get from Cape Town to Christchurch. It arrived on the day that was given to us 10 weeks before.

All communication with Elliotts was professional, courteous and informative. They partnered with an equally proficient team in NZ called The Moving Company and with this partnership, turned an otherwise stressful event into a pleasant experience.
