Elliot mobility removel company damage my drive way with there truck and will not pay to repair it.
I'm the supervisor of a Block of flats and had Elliot mobility remodels come to take some furniture out of the block. There workers where packing the stuff when the truck driver buzz me at the office to open the gate for them. So I when to the gate and opened for them by holding the gate open by standing by the sender. I did be ing the truck driver in and showed him where the furniture and the workers where. Then he walk up to the truck and drove it in . Then he decided the truck has to come in back wards so he battled to reverse the truck out and damage a tree and made a hole in the tar on the drive way. He eventually got the truck out and I told him that the truck was not going back down the drive due to the damage it caused already .I call Elliot mobility and told them to come see the damage the truck had caused to the drive way .They came and took pics and said they will get someone guys to come quote to repair it .Those guys came to quote the vest quote costing only R1450 to repair the damage the truck made . 1 week later i get a call from Elliot mobility removels saying that they will not pay for the repairs as I should not have let the truck in , this is when I had shown the driver the size of the drive way and he should have known the truck was to big to drive down it. How should I know if the truck was to big I'm not a truck drive. So know I'm letting u all know of the bad service you get from Elliot mobility removels and that they won't fix somethi g when they damage it so make sure you don't use them . Try some else trust me. They are full of it.

Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for the tarmac that subsided because of the weight of our vehicle. Please note the driver of our vehicle entered the premises upon your instructions and guidance. If you indeed do have a weight limit on vehicles entering your premises then it is your responsibility to ensure this weight limit it is clearly displayed at the entrance to your premises and is also enforced by you.
