Clown shoes. Someone from Elliot should go around the country with a blade from a carpet knife and remove all the instances of “is amazing” from their trucks and building signage. Elliot is clown shoes, not amazing by any standard. They should be utterly embarrassed at the temerity of calling themselves amazing, even on here in their company name, and yet offer such profoundly dismal service. To be fair the moving guys who did the actual move were amazing, even after they were sold down the river by our “consultant” and the operations person (who was supposed to contact us before the move, we are yet to hear from them). As a result of these dropped round-things-we-play-sport-with (since most bizarrely this platform censors that word), state-of-lacking-ability (also a censored word) and outright falsehood, our move was a mess, chaotically coordinated and late by several hours. More than R6,000 more expensive than the nearest quote, my colleague insisted we use Elliot since they are that good. One would expect that for such a premium one would get better than decent service. And the escalated-to-management didn’t result in anything either. A month after when I enquired from the “consultant” the reply was something like “Oh I escalated it, I wasn’t aware that you were not contacted”. And I’m tied to them since they have my stuff in storage, so I have to use them again. I’d give anything to never have to deal with their lacking-ability (since *********** is censored) and unprofessional service again. My recommendation is to get some guys with a bakkie and trailer to do your move. You will be better off; Elliot is certainly worse.
