Warranty not honoured due to fine print.

They profess selling a multi-plug surge protector. One assumes that it should last at least for 24 months and more like any other multi-plug or surge protection system. But read the fine print!! If you do not register it and all the items attached to it within 30 days of purchasing it is null and void! Well, what could you expect? So what this means is, if I purchase a unit in advance, not use it for a month and then start using it, it does not have to provide protection because the warranty does not have to be honoured. Thus all the advertising is BIG AIR!! R30,000 warranty is just to make people buy their more-expensive multi-plug units. Previously I have had bad experiences at the Ellies stand as well, but this one has convince me now, you will not see me at your stand ever again. Neither will my friend whom I will obviously tell about this.
