SHOCKING SERVICE!!!!!

I recently purchased 4 ELLIES Surge Protector Plugs on Takealot. I buy a great deal of these plugs as i am a Sound technician and Wedding DJ. Every single extension lead has an ELLIES PLug on it!!!

Upon opening up one of the plugs, it was found that the inside Pins had NO *****S, thus making the plug absolutely useless. Let me remind you that each plug is in the region of approx R120 per PLUG.

As per any complaint and as a business owner myself, my first line of call in a scenario like this is to contact somebody at Ellies before heading to social media to complain. I did exactly this. I spoke to Angie at Ellies who gladly got onto this and responded to my email where Vincent Moses was CC'd in. No word from Vincent whatsoever!!

3 days later I phoned Angie again, and with a sigh she said " Oh goodness, has nobody gotten back to you yet" This tells me its an ongoing issue with those involved. I then emailed Angie again and she then CC"d Komla Reddy who promptly responded with the following, Today 31 Jan 2022.

Are you kidding me??? Do you know where i live?? for the price of Petrol i could buy 3 brand new plugs. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!!!!!!!
