** Never trust Ellies - Sell products they cannot repair or keep spares for.

I sent in an Inverter model FBI2000W for repairs to the Durban branch on 17 March. After 4 followup calls a techie Mark finally got back to me on 30 March. He said the board was faulty and cannot be repaired. As its an old type they don't keep spares for this model.

Well I'm ****ed I see they still retailing this model to the public knowing they cannot repair and cannot honour the warrantee. If you don't believe me go to the Makro or Ellies website to confirm this.
