inferior chinese elsat ovhd vs SA altech ovhd

I,ve read some posts on ovhd facebook page and people r really critical of ur 'cheap chinese import the elsat ovhd deco vs the SA made altech ovhd from game for R399.I notice the sound quality is extremely poor on ur elsat in comparision to the altech.The picture is also vastly superior on the altech.Some r really critical calling ur stb fong kong.Why is there such a difference in quality.Even ovhd has responded a while ago on a post that the altech ovhd is superior and more technologically abvanced in comparision to the outdated elsat ovhd.Ovhd says elsat is like a old car and altech is new with all the bells and whisils.Also people were having issues like loosing channels with their altech but not anymore after a software upgrade.Also with the altech uec ovhd u can add free to air channels on ses5 such as rt news,dw,cctv,france24 and nhk work wheras with the elsat u cannot add more fta channels as ur stb is transponder locked.So altech is really superior with regards to sound,picture and adding fta channels which the elsat is unable to do.<br> <br> .
