Ellies UPS Inverter trolleys are useless!

My son bought an Ellies Inverter trolly for my wife and me as we are senior citizens and would like to watch TV in the evening when load shedding/power outages deprive us of power. The battery lasted for 4 months only, rendering the system useless. I contacted Sean Blackman at Ellies Sales & Technical Support who informed me that the battery needed 12 hours to recharge and due to incessant load shedding would not last under the current SA Eskom system - the battery warranty is only 3 months! So Ellies and the sales agent Makro are selling a so-called load-shedding solution that is absolutely useless in SA! Sean suggested I invest in a professional solution and referred me to his head office!!! I am a pensioner and do not have the means to invest in an expensive solar system so as to watch TV! Ellies and Makro are *********** the SA consumer by selling a useless product! No wonder Ellies share price has now reached junk status!
