Saw beautiful jewellery on Facebook and the supplier to be Ellens Gems - South African Jewellery. So, I visited the page and made an order, over R2500 spent. A few weeks later my order arrived and with shock when opening I saw all of the items to be inferior and cheap from China, worth about R200. I emailed to ask for a refund, received a form to complete with my complaint, so I filled it in and sent it back, A few days later I received the return address and the costs will be on me. I went to Postnet and received a quote for DHL courier of R950. I then contacted another courier company and they informed me of the following:

Please note that all jewellery / semi-precious stones / precious stones and metals are prohibited to courier into China.

I immediately emailed Ellen and still no reply. ***. Searched her webpage and saw that she closed it!!! Pure 100% ****!

How do we protect ourselves from ****sters like this??
