When we initially moved in, the apartment was painted out, but there were many flaws and leakages and holes from the previous owners - which we gave through on the various inspections. The paint used was not of a good quality, but nonetheless, we accepted this in the light of..

Upon endind of our yearly contract, we had to move to a smaller unit within the same complex, but with a different agency. Upon waiting for the return payment of our depost, we alll of a sudden got a note that over R8000 will be deducted for: R4000 for Dulax paint for the whole apartment and further R4000 for replacement of 2 carpets. Furthermore, there were 2 water stains left by the basin and on the stove when we were washing up finally and forgot to dry it properly, and a further R360 was added for cleaning services.

This Company clearly uses their Customer's monies to prepare an apartment for the next victims and you must then just accept to forfeit your money....... thousands thereof.... We are definately going further with this to the Rental Housing Tribunal and EAAB.
