********* Behaviour
Rented an apartment through Elize De Witt Properties and did the ingoing inspection, listed defects with the property before occupation. Property was put on the market and we were not notified of this.

We did our outgoing inspection as the unit has been sold and one of her representatives said he was happy with the condition of the apartment on inspection. In fact he said it was well looked after and in good condition.

Today we receive an e-mail from their offices with a quotation to have the unit painted out. In the original inspection list we notes that the door frames were rusted, doors were chipped, walls were marked, ceilings marked, skirtings marked, and that the cornishes were yellow. The quotation received is for these defects to be fixed. They are now wanting a \Total Make Over"with us fitting the bill. DO NOT use this ********* firm as they certainly only have their own interests at heart. Almost certain that a clause in the sale agreement is that the unit be painted out and they are trying to get us to pay for this. We will be taking this further with both the Rental Housing Tribunal and EAAB.
"""
