Easy returns my ass!

I ordered a pair of size 10 shoes, when they arrived they were 43's - size 9. They said I could get another pair if I pay the shipping which works out to half the price of a pair of shoes, therefore I would have to pay 1 and a hlaf times the price for the shoes, because they sent the wrong size. If I want a refund, I have to courier the shoes to China at my expense!
