Violation of privacy

I had many good experiences on the dating site. But this time round it was horrible. I created my profile again, paid for a 6 month membership after taking a break from dating for a period of time. I responded to one person and when I logged out I could not log in again even after resetting passwords and contacting their help section. Their help section said that they contracted out the site to some company and requested them to remove my profile but they do not have control over it. They also promised to refund my money but no joy so far. I get notification daily via email of visitors to my profile and requests for interaction and it seems as if my photo's are still visible and the account active even after their assurances that it was closed. I am heading to the South African consumer goods Ombudsman to assist me as my profile picture is used to lure unsuspecting members to join without my permission. ***
