I decided to try this for 1 month only at R159pm and they deducted for a full 6 months. I then two days later saw this and requested them to cancell the subscription. Im prepared to pay for one month but not 6. They now refuse to refund me.

Thank you for your message.

You always pay for the whole subscription term at once, and not on a monthly basis.

When you purchase your membership, both the monthly price and the total price are visible on the payment page. The monthly price is there to show you that the price-per-month decreases when you commit to a longer membership.

For this reason, the total price that is debited will always be higher than the monthly price when you purchase a longer subscription.

As such, a 6-month membership was debited for a total lump sum of R 954 (6 X R 159)

I am sorry but I cannot grant your request for a refund because of the use you made of our paying service during the notice period.

The right to withdraw from your contract cannot be app**** if you have used the paying features in the time between the initial subscription and your refund request. As you have sent messages to your matches, unfortunately this means a refund will not be possible in this instance.

Nevertheless, I can see that you have successfully cancelled the automatic renewal of your current membership. This means the subscription will now end on the 04.05.2018.

Of course, you can still use your Premium Membership up until this date.

In the meantime, I thank you for your understanding.
